This is by far the best lip balm I have ever used, especially since I developed an allergy to almost all other chapstick-type products. It's very moisturizing and smooth. This is important to me as a trumpet player.

This does have a different feel to it so I can understand why some people might not want to give it a chance, BUT it has worked wonders for me. I went from suffering if I didn't apply anything every 1-2hrs to forgetting about needing anything for days at a time because my lips have been so moisturized.

Here's the thing tho: when you first start using it, you'll need to reapply it often depending on how dry your lips are, because it's working. The emollients are absorbing into your lips, but it's gonna take a bit for them to get their fill. For me, the more my lips get moisturized, the longer the balm lasts on my lips, because they're finally getting enough of what they need. I haven't found any other balm that works as quickly & with such noticeable results as this balm, I can feel my lips getting better, getting moisturized as I use it. Yes, if your lips are dry, you'll need to reapply this until they're satisfied, which may take some time, but your patience will pay off!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Customer13532 from Needs Work I love all the products I’ve used from Burt’s and when I saw this in the store I was so excited to used it, but I need to reapply every fifteen minute and the the balm would just be on my lips and they would still burn so badly. This is the only product I’ve had a bad experience with from this company hope it gets fixed and for the price too it’s hard to throw it away, but it only makes things worse.
