Rated 1 out of 5 by Michelleds from Not a winner I was given this as a gift in a 3 pack giftbox; pomegranate, watermelon and strawberry. The pomegranate kind of smells and tastes like dirt. Very unappealing. The watermelon and strawberry almost smell like their respective scent/flavour but still smell and taste like they've been floating around in Grandma's purse for years; maybe they went off? Either way I love the original burt's bees and will continue with the tried and true.

There were tubes all around the house and i always had them in pockets everywhere. A few months ago I purchased a bigger pack and right away I noticed there was a grainy texture and clumpiness to the spread of the balm. The smell did not seem the same and I thought maybe it was an old tube? So I opened another new one and it was the same thing. It makes me sad because I bought these for everyone all then time as stocking stuffers and little gifts for college ect. I just can't get any relief on my lips with this new formula and it really is unpleasant to use. I will have to try to find a new product but it was such a habit for years to pick up Burts Bees whenever I was out and about so that I had fresh tubes waiting. Ugh I just can't understand why companies do these things to customers when the products work great and there is such a high satisfaction response. It is truly unfortunate. Maybe there will be a revision back to the old formula that will be advertised and bring back customers because I have heard so many people with the same complaints I have that use to buy this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by katierudi from Formula changed I’ve used Burt’s Bees pomegranate lip balm exclusively for the last three or four years. Recently, the scent has become so unpleasant. Like hemp, maybe? It doesn’t smell good at all. The consistency feels a little different, slightly thinner. I’m now using anything else.
