Rated 1 out of 5 by from The fragrance give me a headache! In general I'm a fan of Burt's Bees products (I use the tinted lip gloss and the sensitive skin face wipes and love them!) but there's something in the fragrance of this lotion that is a major issue. I noticed someone at my work was using something strongly scented recently that was giving me a headache, and I reached out to my female colleagues to see what it could be. We were shocked to learn it was this hand cream! And this colleague literally sits 5 cubicles away from me and it was still bothering me. I'm not a huge fan of scents (e.g. perfume) but most of my personal care items are scented and it's not a problem for me. I noticed other reviewers on this site have issues with this cream too. Please Burt's Bees, you need to remove whatever the fragrance additive you use in this product. It can't be healthy if it's causing this kind of adverse reaction!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t say how much I LOVE this product The smell could never be more close to what it has within, love it. I love condensed hand creams, which it seems to be when first apply it, though as soon as you try to spread it, it melts down to your skin like butter and I love it. I should mention it actually is a little bit sticky (8 guess that’s because it is almost 99% natural) when you first apply which will get reduced by time. Some people might not like it but this cream is definitely my favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Only Thing That Works For Me I have a dry patch on both of my palms and this cream is the only one that works for me. I personally love the scent but I can see it being a tad too strong or off-putting to those sensitive to smells. I've tried other hand care products from other brands but they barely do anything other than sit on top of the dryness. This is a great product and I will definitely be repurchasing this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used to be great I have been using this hand cream for the past seven years and I used to love it. However, they have changed the formula and I cannot stand the new scent and it doesn't moisturize as well as the old formula. They added honeysuckle flower extract and it is a strong floral scent. I have chronic migraines and floral scents are a trigger for me.This new formula also does not hydrate my skin as well. I used to put this hand cream on before bed and wake up with soft, moisturized hands (even in winter) and now, no matter how much I put on, my hands still feel dry. I bought this not realizing that a change had been made because the labeling on the tubes is almost identical. They could have easily added the phrase "new formula" or "now with honeysuckle extract" or "new and improved." The only hint is now, on the front, it states 98.1% natural and the older formula states 99.0% natural. On the back, the honeysuckle extract is listed in the ingredients. So, this reformulation is a fail! I will have to find someone to give this to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the Best I love Burt's Bees products & use a lot of them. I bought the Honey & Grapeseed Hand Cream to use in my trip cosmetic bag. However, for me it is way too sticky, too much honey & doesn't absorb into my skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I'm not sure I like Burt's Bees; I think it's a strong and reputable brand. I tend to have multiple Burt's Bees chapstick everyone (a work one, a car one, a house one, etc). This winter my hands began to get drier than usually. I started using those random small hotel lotions that I've acquired from time to time. Once they had been used, I felt like I should something, and naturally went to Burt's Bees. I've only had this for two days, but I'm not sure how long it'll last. It's quite sticky and uncomfortable. It sorta just sits on top of your skin. Is it something I'll just get used to?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Function, Terrible Smell Absorbs really nicely without being overly greasy or sticky-- and no alcohol added (usually creams that absorb this well have alcohol in it, which just makes the problem worse over time.) The smell is super bad though-- I can only describe it as sickly sweet. I know it stems from the fragrance rather than the ingredients because other burt's products that are honey scented have the same sickening smell. It's overbearing as well- not like it fades quickly after application, people around me always ask what the smell is- and not in a good way. The same problem with the new honey lip balm formula. Not sure if this hand cream used to smell better but I think the honey fragrance being used needs to be reformulated immediately- won't buy anything Burt's labelled honey until then.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best but not the worst either Cream has a nice low intensity neutral smell. A little goes a long way, and keeps going and going and going. No matter how small an amount you put on, it never completely sinks in and leaves a residue on top of your skin no matter how long it's left on. The residue then immediately washes off once you wash your hands and they feel dry again. Lotion seems to only penetrate the top skin layer because of the above. I live and work in a very dry environment, so dry in fact that my skin has cracked a few times, but this lotion doesn't have any long lasting effects even if I apply it constantly all day. It's alright, but I certainly wouldn't buy it again and I would never reccommend it to anyone.
